Officer, Research and Development

Job Summary

The overall role of Officer, Researh and Development is responsible for establishing technical standard, and bringing new packaging concepts, conducting research and develop on existing products, new products, product portfolio, and process design, while continue to improve the product quality in order to meet standard system requirements, project timeline, customer’s expectation and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct research, innovate and optimize on existing processes of packaging materials in order to achieve cost efficiency
2. Conduct research and development of new products, new processes and improvement of existing product and processes to meet company goals and customers’
3. Establish and update standard procedure, technical standard of production flow, process control and quality control criteria in order to meet company objectives and regulations
4. Research and synthesize information from a wide range of sources to achieve data collection and analysis of assigned projects and update to superior
5. Organize research documents, results, findings and reports in order to traceback data history
6. Oversee the scale-up process of new products prototype to achieve cost-efficiency of new projects and new launch into the market
7. Research, assessment and define specification of raw materials, packaging materials, machines, instruments and tools to ensure high manufacturing standard
8. Other tasks assigned by superior

Qualifications

1. Education:

• • Bachelor Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Food Science, Agro-Industry or related fields (Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in related fields is preferable)

2. Experiences:
   • 2 years of working or research experience in related field

3. Skills and knowledge:
   • Good knowledge of food product formulation, food packaging and production
   • Good flexibility and quick learning
   • Good interpersonal and problem-solving
   • Good in English, both oral and written.
   • Good command of Ms Office (Word, excel, PowerPoint)
   • Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, GMP, HACCP…etc
